Registrations for charity bibs for the Trail Alsace Grand Est by UTMB are now open for all races. Please choose your cause and read the terms and conditions before starting your registration.

### The steps for a charity bib: 
1. Discover the two 2024 associations: 'Les Châteaux Forts d'Alsace' and 'ELA.'
2. Fill out the registration form and make your donation.
3. Finalize your registration and commit to the associations.

30 bibs are available to runners who wish to support causes related to solidarity, health, inclusion, or the environment by making a donation through UTMB Cares, allowing the collection of funds.

Since the creation of the UTMB World Series, and particularly that of the Trail Alsace Grand Est by UTMB, we have been committed to combining the energy of the events with their spirit of solidarity. In the heart of the Vosges Mountains, we are driven by the desire to help everyone achieve their own victories.

In addition to charity bibs, the UTMB CARES endowment fund supports these associations. At the time of registration, each runner has the option to make a donation.

Solidarity

Discover the associations

Alsace is one of the regions in Europe with the highest number of castle ruins. On the Alsace Castle Trail that we created and published in 2017, more than 80 castles are counted between Wissembourg and Thann (link to the topoguide). These remnants form a remarkable ensemble with high heritage value due to their quantity, homogeneity, and strongly distinctive appearance. However, outside of Alsace, they are relatively unknown, and the region is not widely recognized as a land of castles.

The Association of  'Les Châteaux Forts d'Alsace' Ruins was established in 2013 with the aim of promoting and enhancing awareness of this castle heritage among the general public through actions facilitating their promotion and valorization. Additionally, our objective is to support and raise awareness, both among the public and stakeholders in heritage and tourism, of the work carried out by volunteer associations, local authorities, and individuals dedicated to their preservation. To achieve this, we provide our expertise and mobilize funds to support projects related to the castle ruins of Alsace.

Today, thanks to the efforts of volunteer associations (castle guardians), local authorities (CEA, Grand Est Region), and numerous donors, these ruins, exposed to the ravages of time, have been partially preserved. However, there is still much work to be done...

The Association of  'Les Châteaux Forts d'Alsace' Ruins promote and enhance awareness of this castle heritage among the general public

Les Chateaux Forts d'Alsace association

ELA is an association of parents who have been working together for 31 years to overcome leukodystrophies.

In 1992, when the Association was founded by Guy Alba with Pascal Prin and Cathy Schorderet, all that was known about leukodystrophies was that they were genetic neurodegenerative diseases and that the days of the people affected by these terrible diseases were numbered, without being able to offer a more precise prognosis.

Recognised as a public utility since 1996, it is ELA’s investment and the unfailing commitment of families, researchers, partners, sponsors, supporters and donors that have made it possible to identify more than thirty forms of leukodystrophy.

In the 31 years of ELA’s existence, thousands of children, adults, parents, spouses and siblings have been supported on a daily basis to face the demanding battle against the progression of the disease.

This is why ELA is relentlessly pursuing its efforts to raise awareness, mobilise, inform and collect donations from as many people as possible.
